UPGRADING MICKLEHAM PRIMARY SCHOOL BRICK BY BRICK

Minister for Education James Merlino and Member for Yuroke Ros Spence today announced Mickleham Primary School will receive a $21.433 million upgrade, following the more than $7 million announced through the Infrastructure Planning and Acceleration Fund, to acquire land and rebuild the school on an expanded site.

Families in Victoria’s fastest growing areas are a step closer to getting the state-of-the-art schools they deserve, with the appointment of new principals at all 14 schools opening in 2021 and commencement of community consultation to name the new schools.

NEW MICKLEHAM SCHOOL GETS ITS FIRST PRINCIPAL

The foundation principal has been appointed to lead the new Merrifield West Primary School (interim name), which is set to open in 2021 and provide more student places for local families.
