Passengers living in Attwood’s Cambridge Gardens estate will have direct access to bus services for the very first time, thanks to the Andrews Labor Government.

Member for Yuroke Ros Spence today announced the extension of Route 484 bus services to Cambridge Gardens, starting from 14 June.

The new route for the Route 484 bus will run along Haddon Hall Drive and Bateman Street and provide local residents with access to train stations and shopping centres.

Changes to the Route 484 (Broadmeadows to Roxburgh Park via Greenvale) timetable will also give passengers a more reliable service, thanks to updated running times that reflect traffic conditions across the day.

The current school deviations and extensions will be replaced with dedicated School Special services to Aitken College from Broadmeadows Station and Gladstone Park Secondary College from Roxburgh Park Station.

The timetable of Route 543 will be updated to better connect with trains on the Craigieburn line at Roxburgh Park Station and provide more reliable travel times for passengers.

Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, public transport continues to support essential journeys for locals, particularly those who are critical to our community right now –like healthcare workers, people working at supermarkets and pharmacies and educators.

We are keeping all our services running to ensure these Victorians can get where they need to go safely, and we have implemented increased cleaning on all public transport to slow the spread of coronavirus.

The new timetables on Routes 484 and 543 will be available online on the PTV website and app from 15 May.
