Extra parking for Craigieburn commuters

The Andrews Labor Government has added another 30 car spaces at Craigieburn Station as part of stage 2 of upgrading access to Craigieburn Station, making it easier for people to drive to the station and catch the train.

Member for Yuroke, Ros Spence, today announced passengers could begin using the 30 new car spaces at 79 Potter Street, which is a short walk from the station.

These come on top of the 55 extra spaces delivered last year in stage 1 of the Labor Government’s ongoing investment in Craigieburn Station, taking the total number of spaces in the precinct to 350.

Upgrades have also been made in the last year to the Craigieburn Station bus interchange, where bus routes 528, 529, 533, 537 & 544 connect local passengers with trains.

Discussions are ongoing with Hume Council for access to additional land nearby to provide even more parking for passengers, with other options also being assessed to provide a significant number of extra spaces in future stages.
