A new $34,000 trailer will provide a major boost to the resources of SES’s Craigieburn Unit and assist volunteers in performing their vital work.

Representing the Minister for Emergency Services Jane Garrett, Member for Yuroke Ros Spence MP will be at SES Craigieburn headquarters on Friday for the presentation of the new trailer.
The trailer will help SES members in responding to flood and storm call outs in Craigieburn and nearby suburbs.

It is a purpose-built unit, carrying equipment and supplies for storm and flood response including a generator, flood lights, large water pump, tarps, ladder and tools.
The trailer will also supply battery powered site lighting so it can be used for assisting police and CFA.

The new trailer cost $34,000 and was funded by Jemena Electricity.
