TENDER AWARDED FOR ROUTE 525

The Andrews Labor Government is delivering a new bus route which will service Melbourne’s growing northern suburbs from December, connecting locals in these growing suburbs to trains at Craigieburn Station.

Member for Yuroke Ros Spence today announced Dysons as the successful tenderer to deliver the service, which will give residents in Mickleham, Kalkallo and Craigieburn more public transport options to get to where they need to go.

The new route is set to start in December 2019, with the full route map and timetable available in November.

Key destinations along the route include Donnybrook and Craigieburn train stations, Merrifield, Cloverton and Trillium estates, and parks, shops and services across Craigieburn.

The route will also service Mount Ridley College and Newbury Primary School, so students living in and around Mickleham can catch the bus to school.
