LAND PURCHASED FOR FUTURE PRIMARY SCHOOL IN GREENVALE

Families in Melbourne’s north are a step closer to having an exciting new school thanks to the Andrews Labor Government, after a site was secured to build Greenvale North West Primary School.

Member for Yuroke Ros Spence today announced land at 214 Greenvale Gardens Boulevard, Greenvale, has been bought, with a second piece of land for the school expected to settle in October.

Purchasing land is the first step towards delivering a new primary school in Greenvale, which will cater for 475 students once completed.

The Labor Government is building the Education State so that every student can access a great local school and education, and has invested more than $3.8 billion to improve classrooms, upgrade facilities and build new schools across the state.

This school building boom has delivered more than 1,300 school upgrades and 70 new school projects across the state, supporting more than 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.
