UPGRADE TO CRAIGIEBURN STATION BUS INTERCHANGE

The Andrews Labor Government is upgrading the Craigieburn Station Bus Interchange to improve connectivity between bus and rail services and support continued growth.

As part of the next stage of the Craigieburn Station Bus Interchange we’re constructing three new bus bays within the existing interchange, with one new bus bay on Walters Street and another two on Potter Street.

Works are set to start in September 2023 and be complete by late 2023. We delivered two new bus bays at the Craigieburn Station Bus Interchange in April 2023, giving public transport users a better connection between their train and local bus services.

The bus network plays a critical role in our public transport network – particularly for people living in Melbourne’s outer suburbs – with over 135 million bus trips in Victoria a year.
