GOODSTART EARLY LEARNING GREENVALE

The Victorian Government is working to support early childhood education in Melbourne’s outer north through the Building Blocks Grants Improvement Stream, providing funding for upgrades, refurbishments, and renovations to early learning facilities.

Member for Yuroke, Ros Spence MP recently announced a local recipient in her electorate which received funding through this program.

Goodstart Early Learning in Greenvale will receive more than $34,000 in funding through this program, which will include new turf, sub-surface replacement, and ground leveling as required.

Building Blocks Grants aim to streamline all pre-existing kindergarten infrastructure grants into one overarching program and provide increased state funding contributions for early childhood projects.

As part of this improvement stream, organisations can apply for funding through three different categories, including information technology with grants of up to $2000, minor infrastructure grants of up to $70,000, and early learning facility upgrade grants of up to $500,000.
