NEW MINISTERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR KALKALLO MP

Earlier this week incoming Premier Jacinta Allan announced her first Cabinet, with Member for Kalkallo Ros Spence appointed as Minister for Agriculture and Minister for Carers and Volunteers in addition to retaining her role as Minister for Community Sport.

In these roles, Minister Spence will continue to be responsible for important local investments such as the Labor Government’s $5 million investment in Stage 1 of the Greenhill Recreation Reserve development.

Since Ms Spence joined the Cabinet in 2020, she has held roles as Minister for Prevention of Family Violence, Minister for Suburban Development, Minister for Multicultural Affairs, and Minister for Youth.

The newly sworn-in Allan Labor Government will continue to deliver on important projects in the Kalkallo electorate, including the Watson Street Interchange and a new kinder at Wallan Secondary College.
